MISSION STATEMENT

Taking Back Texas is an all-volunteer grassroots organization of highly trained citizen volunteers dedicated to the following:

Promoting grassroots democracy and bringing new people into politics.
Training and supporting everyday citizens in the political process that governs their lives.
Supporting candidates and office-holders who tell the truth; stand up for what they believe; and oppose the agenda of narrow special interests.
Advocating and promoting progressive policies like:

Health care for all.
Investment in children.
Equal rights under the law.
Fiscal responsibility; and
A national security policy that makes America stronger and safer by serving as an international role model for the principles and values that make America great.
